The International Islamic Council of Justice (IICJ) is a senior Shariah Council in the UK. IICJ was established to represent and provide services to Muslims around the entire world. Our services are available to over 2 billion Muslims worldwide.

About Us

Our Team

Our team consists of Muftis and Islamic Judges (Qadhis) who are multilingual and multicultural. They are friendly, professional, and vastly experienced, having adjudicated over innumerable cases. They have studied extensively throughout the world. As a result, they are adept at dealing with people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds, thus they operate with a deep understanding and sensitivity with respect to the needs of each individual, be you from the UK or abroad.

Our full-time team includes Mufti Arif Khan, Mufti Usman, and Mufti Mohammed.

IICJ Functions

IICJ functions fully within the remit of English Law. Our verdicts are all in accordance to the Quran and Sunnah, and are given predominantly in accordance to Hanafi Fiqh. However, Shafi’, Maliki and Hanbali verdicts can be arranged too.
