Marriage has a high status in Islam. Almighty Allah states in the Qur’an:
“And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.” (30:21)

“Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me.” (Sunan Ibn Majah)

Person & Online Nikahs
If the bride, groom and 2 witnesses are present in the same room, our Muftis can conduct the marriage online.
What does the Nikah ceremony entail:
- English speech - Only if requested.
- . Arabic Nikah Khutbah
- Reading of Shahadah
- Offer & Acceptance
- Signing of Nikah Certificate

How is Nikah is performed:
The Nikah is performed with a proposal (Ijaab) and acceptance (Qabool) in the presence of two male Muslim witnesses, or one male and two female witnesses, in exchange for the stipulated dowry (mahr).
Condition:
The bride and groom must be Sunni Muslims. Minimum age is 18.
Fee:
£100, plus £50 for Nikah Certificate.
